It is with great sadness for our family that we lost our dearest mother Joan Lotzof.
She gently passed away last evening 17th, and was surrounded by her family. She was a beautiful person who deeply cared about her family and friends. It was a gift we got to have some incredible times together since she moved here.
Joan, a distinguished realtor in Houston, was not only a professional standout but also the heart of her family—a devoted wife, a loving mother, and a cherished friend.
Her legacy will undeniably endure through her children, Marc, Lawrence, Mandy, and Craig, as they continue to honor the remarkable woman she was. Next time you savor a sweet treat, let it be a moment to remember Joan.
Please love and kiss your loved ones.

Our Mom was devoted to family, and had a clear vision for leaving South Africa. She deeply cared for the well being of her children and devoted her life to her children. She and our Dad devoted everything for their children and were great role models for everyone who knew them. We are all so grateful for the sacrifices both her and my Dad did for our family. She was soft spoken, led by example, had an inner drive and an unparalleled work ethic like no other. There is a great void in our lives and hearts, our love for her will always be cherished. She was a classy and elegant woman who loved and cherished her family above all.
After losing her home in Houston to Hurricane Harvey, along with the passing of her husband Sikki, Joan moved to San Diego where she lived until she passed away this year on January 17, 2024. She was buried on what would have been her 86th birthday.
