South African Jewish American Community​
Through SAJAC, people of similar backgrounds can identify with one another while establishing themselves in a new environment. They can experience the warmth and friendship of a familiar group while connecting and integrating into the Jewish American Community.
Our Purpose
- To welcome South African Jews to the community.
- To assist all South African Jews to integrate into the American Jewish community.
- To provide friendly relations and understanding amongst Jews of all countries.
- To identify those in need and connect them with resources, assistance & service agencies.
- To create a sense of identity by strengthening the bond of Judaism.
- To create a form of communication.
Sajac’s Purpose:
- To welcome and assist South African Jews to integrate into American culture, customs and
lifestyle. - To preserve South African ideals, values, and traditions.
- To strengthen Jewish culture, identity and create a positive Jewish presence in the
community. - To support Israel, particularly following the events of October 7, 2023, by combating
antisemitism and partnering with American Jewish institutions. - To aid members in financial need through our Gemilut Chesed Fund or by connecting them
with Jewish agencies and other resources. - To promote entrepreneurial efforts and services among members.
- To foster communication and connection, creating a sense of warmth and belonging.

Leatherock is a fashion house based out of San Diego! Iconic in the 2000’s, we have styled Beyonce, Kim Kardashian, Miley Cyrus, Aaliyah, and more; as well as being featured in numerous publications like Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, People, Teen People, and more.
We are selling vintage products and deadstock at discounted prices. We have vintage belts, bags and purses, boot jewelry, chokers, bracelets, and more.
We will also have various Crafting and manufacturing supplies, like semiprecious stones, various crystals, beads, cabochons, leather scraps, hardware/findings, buckles, leather scraps, fabric, leather straps, braided straps, trims, are much more!
*We will be located in between Punch Visual Concepts, and Catalina Seafood in the storage containers*
Parking Information: There should be parking spots in front of Punch Visual, as well as in the Catalina Seafood lot.
